Plant Talk Spider Plants

A staple houseplant for your collection! Spider plants come in many different variegation patterns and the leaves can either be curly or straight! The spider plant does best in indirect, bright light. It does not appreciate hot or direct sun - as the leaves can easily burn and become crispy. It is the perfect houseplant to stick in a bare corner or to spruce up your office as it can tolerate lower light. The spider plant enjoys its soil to be moderately moist and shows when it’s thirsty, as the leaves droop and are drained of its vibrant green color.

The most fun part about this plant are the babies it produces! Spider plants are constantly popping out spiderettes and they are easy-peasy to propagate. Simply cut the baby off of the stem it’s attached to and either set the base directly in dirt or let it root a bit longer in water!
